The crack is getting wider the whole length of the footpath and becoming a very serious health and safety concern, The path is used daily by public including children.

Between batampton and dundas aqueduct The towpath is rather overgrown with hanging vegetation causing issues between cyclists, walkers, runners and canal owners.
